Personal Learning Time (PLT) Starts Sep 17, 18 in Homeroom
Personal Learning Time (PLT) Starts Soon
We’re excited to relaunch Personal Learning Time (PLT)—a fresh way for students to take charge of their learning.

Here’s what you need to know:

First PLT Sessions:
Dates: September 17, 18, and 24
Students go to their homerooms on these days.
Teachers will explain:
  • What students can do during PLT
  • How to plan their learning
  • How to use the new system to sign up for sessions

Important Details:
- PLT is mandatory for all students.
- Students must be in a classroom or learning space with a teacher.
- PLT happens every Wednesday and Thursday, from 9:43 to 10:31 AM, right after A Block.
- Students can sign up for sessions up to 2 weeks ahead and will see their schedule in the new system.
Students will sign up for PLT using a new software platform. The login and password will be their schoolboard issues login. The same login information they would use for MS teams. Example: Hp000777@sd38.bc.ca - students can see tachers for password resets!
Please note:

- Attendance is taken during PLT.
- Common areas will open later for senior students once routines are in place.
- Please check the school calendar for PLT dates.

We’re looking forward to helping students grow as independent learners!
