Hey Griffins! Multicultural Club would like to announce a LUNAR NEW YEAR TALENT SHOW on January 29 from 4:15-6:00 PM in the lounge, tickets will cost $2! Whether you're a singer, dancer, musician, or have a unique talent, we want to see it! Sign-ups are now open, if you see one of our posters around the school scan it or check our Instagram to secure your spot before January 20! Prizes include a: $25 chatime gift card, 3ft tall jumbo fries pack, and 4 jumbo sized LaTiao! There will also be a raffle for everyone who buys a ticket! Also anyone participating in the talent show is welcome to sign up to join the dragon boat club’s new year hotpot!”

All students, reminder that you have the opportunity to speak to your counsellor to see if you qualify for a semester 2 course change until January 21st. No course change requests will be accepted after that time.

A reminder to our Grade 10’s that Graduation Literacy Assessments will be taking place this week Tuesday to Thursday. Please check the boards outside the main office for the date and time that you are scheduled to write your assessment. We will be following an alternate bell schedule on these days with PLT/Assessments running until 11:15 – block A will start at 11:30. If you are not writing an assessment, you are able to sign up for two PLT sessions between 8:30 and 11:15.

Hey griffins, there will be an open gym for badminton happening today at lunch in the large gym. Open gym for seniors is today. Sign up for badminton doubles will be on the qr code on the bulletin board outside the PE office and will also be in our instagram bio link. See you there!

If you are a Grade 10 or 11 student that is interested in taking an AP course next year, please note that there will be an important information session next week to go over what an AP course is, what courses are offered, and to pick up an AP course request form. The meeting will be held Monday January 20 at lunch in Mr. Liang's room (room 107). See you there.

For those students who are members of the school savvy group. A reminder that we are meeting today at lunch in room 124.

Living Beyond the Horizon is having our Winter Reflection board today and tomorrow at lunch in the lounge. Stop by at the Pride Mural to reflect about last year and your New Year's resolutions! Answer at least one question, and you'll also receive candy as a treat!
