hey griffins! Make sure to Stop by Palmer Central today at lunch for a cookie! Cookies by Halle will be selling different flavored cookies bi-weekly to fundraise for your grads! This week will be chocolate chip cookies! We hope to see you there!

Congratulations to Quantum Dragonboat! Palmer’s Dragon Boat Team for their GOLD in the Oddball Fall Classic race in the Mixed G Division! Great job to their paddler for their effort and dedication to get this win! If anyone wants to join dragon boat please see Ms. Zhao or check out their Instagram @quantumdragoboat!

In preparation for the October 19 Provincial Election, the LLC has asked the declared candidates for our riding to come and present their party platforms. Mr. Aman Singh of the NDP will come to Palmer on Tuesday Oct. 1. He will be in the LLC at lunch to speak to students about the NDP platform and vision for the province.

Students in grade 10, 11 or 12 and are interested in getting credit for a language you already know, you may be eligible to take a challenge exam for credits. Languages include French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Farsi, or Spanish. There will be an information session on the Language Challenge Exam this Thursday at lunch in room 124. Typed applications with photo and payment are due to your counselor by October 24th.

If you didn't get a chance to pre-order croissants? Club Français will be selling freshly baked croissants this Thursday lunch at the lounge while quantities last. Follow them at @rcpclubfrancais on Instagram for updates and become a member every Thursday lunch in Room 122 to explore Francophone and French culture through fun games and events!

all funds will be donated to Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives: Christmas Fund.

Welcome, my fellow Impactians, our first event will be on this Wednesday to Thursday October 2nd to 3rd about KINDNESS ROCKS. Mark your calendars and join us to paint kind messages on rocks and scatter them around the school as an Orange Shirt Day activity highlighting Every Child Matters. See you there griffins!
