As our incoming grade 8 students completed the Summer Connections Program at Palmer, we asked for some student feedback with the following questions:

• What was the best part of camp?
• What would you want to see more of?
• Do you feel more prepared/comfortable going into the school year after camp?
• Do you feel like you know your way around Palmer now?
• Would you recommend camp to future grade 8’s?

This is some of the student feedback we received from our participants:

• good opportunity to meet new friends 
• get to know your teachers before school starts
• you get to have fun all day
• you get to feel comfortable starting a new school
• I could find my way around the school before the older kids get there
