Course Planning for 2025-26 is Coming Soon!

Please spend some time over the break and in January looking over your Course Planning options for 2025-26: https://palmer.sd38.bc.ca/student-information/course-planning-2025-2026.

Students' personalized Program Planning forms will be distributed on February 6th during grade-wide assemblies; the forms must be signed by parents and handed in to the Counselling Centre by 3 PM on Thursday, February 13, 2025.  

Course selections must also be entered online between February 6^th and February 13^th.  Students need to be able to access their OWN MyEd accounts to do course entry - Parent Accounts CANNOT BE USED FOR THIS PROCESS.  Log-in info will be printed on the individualized course selection forms. 

Please ensure you are able to access your MyEd account - if not, please email palmer@sd38.bc.ca for a password reset or assistance if you are locked out of your account.

Counsellors will make themselves available on February 7, 10, and 11 in the library at lunch to answer course planning questions.  Our Vice Principal Mr. Byres will also offer Tech support, including computer use, during PLT that week to ensure that all students enter their courses correctly on myEd.

You may bring questions to your counsellor and the Career Advisor throughout the month of January - you need not wait until February.

Families, please also note that Mr. Plut will be on leave after January 24th 2025.  Effective at the start of semester 2, Ms. White will be taking over as counsellor for his students and the grade 8 students will be assigned to a counsellor based on last name.
