This year, the RC Palmer Secondary Leadership 11 & 12 classes are proud to partner with the Canadian Cancer Society for a year-long fundraising and community engagement initiative in support of cancer research, patient services, and cancer awareness.

Throughout the 2025–2026 school year, Leadership students will be organizing and running multiple fundraising and awareness events, including:

The Wake-A-Thon marks the first major event in this year-long campaign. During this overnight event, Leadership students will stay awake all night while participating in activities focused on teamwork, community building, and raising funds for cancer support services.

Students will be collecting pledges before and after events, with donations going directly to the Canadian Cancer Society. Donations of $50 or more are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.
