Today is Friday, January 30th, and it is National Croissant Day! Why did the croissant break up with the coffee?

Because it felt like its relationship was too steamy!

Now an announcement from RCP Med Club:

Hi Griffins!

RCP Med Club will be holding a meeting today at lunch in Mr. Shim’s room 106. We will be giving a lesson on the medical field of pharmacology and discussing things a pharmacologist does, their education path, their daily life, and more! Everyone is welcome, and we hope to see you there!

For Grade 10 or 11 students that are interested in taking an AP course next year, please note that there will be an important information session next week to go over what an AP course is, what courses are offered, and to pick up an AP course request form. The meeting will be held Monday February 2nd at lunch in Mr. Liang's room (room 107). See you there.

Attention Palmer senior students:

Student parking slips for the Semester 2 parking lottery passes will be available for all Palmer students starting next week. You can pick up a parking slip from the office between January 29 and February 5.

The parking lottery draw will take place on Friday, February 6.

A reminder that students must not park in the Palmer parking lot without an official Palmer student parking pass.

Now an announcement from Palmer Dance Club:

We have less than 25 tickets in the office for the 17th annual Footloose Hip Hop Dance Competition on Thursday, February 12. Tickets will 𝗡𝗢𝗧 be sold at the door, so get them before they’re officially sold out. Tickets can also be purchased from any Palmer Dance Squad member.

For all grade 10 and 11 students and families, the district Career Programs Office is hosting several information sessions for our post-secondary dual credit programs. These will be held in the evening on Zoom or Teams starting this week. Meet the

post-secondary instructors too. Access codes for these dual credit sessions were emailed to you and your family last week. Check your spam. Info nights will cover programs in:

  • Biomedical and Health Science
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Trades Training
  • Medical Lab Assistant and Health Care Assistant ...

...and our district Manufacturing & Engineering co-op program.

The poster with passcodes is also on the Career Programs slat board in or near the counselling office. Hope you can make it!

If anyone has found a pair of size7/8 Nike Koolaid Shoes, please bring it down to the office
