Holiday Door Decorating is back! Make a group of 6 people and send your door picture to @RCPALMERSTUDENTCOUNCIL by Nov 24 at 5:30pm. Please make sure to ask the teacher before you decorate their classroom door!
We are thrilled to announce that the Dragon Boat Club is organizing a team to participate in next year's Sun Run event! It's an exciting opportunity, and we invite all Palmer students in grades 8-12 to join us. Sun Run is not just a competition; it's also a fantastic social and team-building opportunity. We look forward to running alongside you, challenging ourselves, and creating lasting memories. Contact the Dragon Boat Club or ask Ms. Zhao in room 202 for more information and registration details.

Grade 12s, please note that your applications for the BC Excellence and Schulich awards are due to Ms. Gill by January 18th. Please check Ms. Mayer’s webpage for further details about both scholarships and pick up the nomination form from the Counselling Centre if you think you meet the criteria. Only ONE student will be nominated for each award.
Grade 12s interested in applying for the Beedie Luminaries scholarship are encouraged to attend an information session in the library on Friday December 8th at lunch. If you’re interested in scorekeeping this upcoming basketball season, there will be a mandatory training session on Wednesday, November 29 in the large gym at lunch.
Ready to get creative? Palmer Library is hosting a bookmark design contest. Stop by to find out more details and submit your design by Dec 8 to palmerlibrary38@gmail.com. The winner will get their creation printed, laminated, and made available to all readers. Additionally, they will get a book prize pack of their choosing.
Are you a grad of 2024 and have a sibling in Palmer? If you want to be on the yearbook grads siblings page, sign up now for a time between December 6th and 7th to have your pictures taken. If you can’t make it on these two days, the last chance to take your pictures will be on December 8th. Sign up sheet is in front of Ms. MacDonald's art room, room 133. Photos will be taken in the Palmer library. See you all there.
