Daily Notices Jun9, 2026
Today is Tuesday, June 9th, and it is National Donald Duck Day! Why did the duck go to the bank?
Because it wanted more bills!
This is a reminder to all GRADE 9s who signed up for the universal hot lunch that your order will be available for pick up at the start of lunch today in front of the PRIDE mural in the lounge.
This week, our school is holding a donation drive for Covenant House, an organization that supports youth facing homelessness, addiction, trauma, and other challenges by providing shelter, food, clothing, and guidance. Donations can be placed in the collection box located in the main office. This drive is an opportunity for our school community to support vulnerable youth and make a meaningful difference in their lives.
Grads can now view their valedictory photos online! Complimentary prints of each grad will be distributed in the coming week or so.
To purchase additional copies or the digital image, students can now sign in to their individual grad photo gallery on our website: https://artona.com/orders/grad. If anyone has trouble accessing, please have them contact our CS team: https://artona.com/contact-us
Attention all Griffins: All uncollected lost and found items will be displayed outside the main school office on Monday, June 15th. Any items not claimed by Tuesday, June 16th at lunch will be bagged up and given to charity.
Attention Grade 10s: The Literacy Graduation Assessment will be happening tomorrow on Tuesday, June 9, Wednesday, June 10, and Thursday, June 11, from 8:30-11:30. Please check the window beside the office to find out what day and in what room you will be writing the assessment.
Make sure to bring your student ID, and your computer login credentials. Note - PLT is cancelled the week of the grad assessments.
If you have any announcements you would like us to announce, please email them to rcpalmerjournalism@gmail.com. If you missed any announcements, they can be found on our school website.
That's all for today, Griffins! Thank you for listening and have a wonderful rest of your day!
