This event will take place Wednesday, May 20th, 2026 between 9:00am and 12:00noon at Palmer.  Selected students will be given a specific time to be at the Opportunity Fair site at RC Palmer Secondary School and will rotate between a few employers.

The Opportunity Fair is intended for grade 11 and 12 students open to summer or full-time employment or looking for general information on employment opportunities, feedback on their resumes, tips on what employers are looking for, and more.

The invited employers are primarily from the construction, manufacturing, automotive and marine sectors. These companies are looking for potential skilled trades apprentices, but they are also interested in entry level workers in human resources, finance, customer support, and IT, so the event will be of value to more than just trades-oriented students. 

This will be a great learning experience for those students who venture to come out.  Be sure to bring a few copies of your resumé.

NOTE: In order to register to participate in this opportunity, students must complete the online registration form using the attached QR code or the link (https://forms.office.com/r/bAMPJ3W1KV).  It will be on a first come first serve basis, so the sooner you register, the better your chances are to be accepted.  Invited students will be contacted (check your email) with an assigned start time.
