In preparation for the October 19 Provincial Election, the LLC has asked the declared
candidates for our riding to come and present their party platforms. Mr. Aman Singh of the NDP
will come to Palmer on Tuesday Oct. 1. He will be in the LLC at lunch to speak to students
about the NDP platform and vision for the province.

Are you in grade 10, 11 or 12 and interested in getting credit for a language you already know?
If you speak French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Punjabi, Farsi, or Spanish, you may be
eligible to take a challenge exam for credit. Come to an information session on the Language
Challenge Exam process on Thursday October 3rd at lunch in room 124. Typed applications with
photo and payment are due to your counsellor by October 24th.

ATTENTION! Model UN will be having their first meeting TODAY at lunch! Everyone is welcome
no matter your experience, so be sure to bring a friend. The meeting will be short so that people
can also see the volleyball game. Thank you!
