As our Valedictory Ceremony is fast approaching, we are sharing some important information with our grads and guests to ensure that the event runs smoothly for all of us!

Our 2023-2024 Valedictory Ceremony is taking place at the UBC Chan Centre on Monday June 10^th at 6:30pm.

Grads - 

• Grads must arrive by 5PM and enter near the Royal Bank Cinema entrance
• Make sure that you bring your cap, gown, and stole when you meet at the Royal Bank Cinema Entrance but leave jackets and bags with your family/guests attending – we do not have anywhere for you to store your belongings and you are not allowed to take anything with you into the theatre.
• Remember to bring a toonie to give to the scholarship fund when you cross the stage

Guests:

• Traffic can get busy so please allow ample time to drive to UBC. Guests should be parked and ready to enter the Chan Centre by 6pm as the ceremony starts at 6:30pm sharp.
• The nearest parkade to the Chan Centre is at the Rose Garden Parkade.
• The Chan Centre will open doors at 5:30PM and seating opens at 6PM
• You must have a ticket to enter the ceremony. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the event.  Grads are given two tickets at the Rehearsal on Friday June 7^th – please make sure to get these from your student and have it with you on Monday!
• At the end of the ceremony, please exit promptly and enjoy taking photos at the Rose Garden

Getting to The UBC Rose Garden Parkade

6301 Crescent Road, Vancouver BC V6T 1Z2

Take Russ Baker Way, merge on to Grant McConachie Way E, continue onto Arthur Laing Bridge/Marine Dr SW.  Follow the slight ramp to Granville Street E/City Centre/Centre-ville/BC-99N. Merge onto SW Marine Drive and stay on SW Marine Dr for 12km.  Turn right onto The UBC Rose Garden Parkade
