Global Network is hosting a jar fundraiser throughout this entire week during lunch. Go down to the pride mural to donate money to a teacher's jar and the three teachers with the most donations will do a random act of kindness! See you there!

 

Journalism Club meets today in the Drama room. Bring your ideas and help us make the Pulse of Palmer even better!

 

Palmers mental health club Living beyond the horizon will be having a meeting this week on Thursday on Zoom! DM the Instagram account @livingbeyondthehorizon or visit the counseling room!

 

Want to learn more about films? Join foreign film club where we analyze and discuss them. Meet others who love movies just as much as you do and learn lots! There are new movie suggestions each week. If you are interested in joining, contact Leslie Zheng (Grade 12) or Mr. Sturtevant in the Drama Room. Look for flyers around the school for email contact information.

There's a new photography club at Palmer named capture! You can improve and learn new skills, meet other passionate photographers and collect volunteer hours! check out our Instagram @rcpcapture and sign up in the link in our bio!

Palmer is celebrating 10 Days of Kindness. There is a decorative paper tree, and a kindness poster up in the lounge where students and staff are able to recognize these acts with post-it notes. The hope is that at the end of these ten days we will have a beautiful, blooming tree celebrating all of the kindness at Palmer.

 

teachers will also be keeping an eye out over the next two weeks for repeated kindness among students and will have pizza gift cards to hand out at their discretion.

 

Attention grade 12 students. We will soon be printing your Valedictory & Awards Certificates. The list of names that we will use is posted on the courtyard windows by the office. Please check that the spelling is correct and that the name posted is the one you want on your certificates. If you prefer your legal name to be used, or if any other changes need to be made, please let Ms. Lapointe in the office know by Friday, March 12th. Artona will charge a $20 fee to change aValedictory certificate.
