  • Do you identify as LGBTQ2S+ or as an ally? Maybe you're questioning or just want to know more?  Come join us for a safe space and a snack in the drama room this Friday at lunch. Please wear your mask. See Ms. Nallainathan, Mr. Sturtevant, or Ms. Epp if you want more details.

  • A reminder to our Grade 10 students that they are registered to write the GRADUATION NUMERACY ASSESSMENT (GNA) on January 26-27.  On both of these days, there will be a morning and afternoon sitting for the Graduation Numeracy Assessment: Students scheduled for the morning session (8:30-11:30) should arrive by 8:15 AM. Students scheduled for the afternoon session (12:00-3:00) should arrive by 11:45 AM. Grade 10 students must check their assessment date and time and location on the posted schedules. Schedules have been posted the school Palmer lounge.  Students must remember to bring their Student ID card and a pencil.  If they are bringing their own calculator, please ensure that you have reviewed the Calculator policy (shown in the lounge).

  • Attention grade 12 students: The Richmond Community Foundation’s High School Scholarship Application is now open.  RCF offers more than different scholarships and most do not require a specific grade average. In addition to those undertaking degree studies, students who are pursuing trades, Performing Arts and diploma courses are encouraged to apply.  Please visit the Palmer website or see your counsellor for more information.  The deadline to submit your full application online is March 9th.  Don’t wait until deadline as your references require a minimum two weeks to write you letters.

  • Due to increased interest, the deadline to purchase a 2020-2021 Palmer yearbook has been extended to Wednesday, February 10th.  Get yours before they are sold out!  Purchase through School Cash Online or see Ms. Henry in the office.

  • Starting next week, January 25th, Eco Team will be hosting a clothing drive before and after school! Please bring new or old washed clothes in a plastic bag and drop them off in a clothing bin at the front of the school to be donated.
