  • Hey Palmer griffins! Nutri-Kin is now recruiting volunteers for our Food For Thought program! Food For Thought is a program where Nutri-Kin teaches elementary school students about personal well-being, fitness and various topics relating to food. Our first meeting will be on Thursday Jan 7 at 3:30 pm via zoom (zoom link and details will be posted later this week). We’ll be discussing how the program will run, volunteering opportunities and more details. Be sure to follow us on facebook at RC Palmer Nutri-Kin 2020-2021 for updates on our programs and volunteering opportunities. Also, make sure to sign up on our general members google form because that is our main reference for all our volunteers.

 

  • Grade 12's who are graduating this year are asked to make sure they book their Artona Portrait Studio Sitting. Palmer's dates are January 15-19th. This is for the yearbook and the composite photo - all graduates must take their photo regardless of purchasing the photo package for family. Go to Artona.com and book your sitting today!!

 

  • MusicFest Nationals Musicians!  There is a meeting this Thursday at lunch in the Band Room.  Those who have already signed up, please check your email for info.  Please contact Stacey or Ms. Chan if you have questions.

 

  • Yearbooks will be on sale until January 15th for $50. Get your 2020-21 yearbook by purchasing through school-cash-online. We sell out every year and this year will be a great year to look back on! If you have photos you want to see in the yearbook, send your images to bestyearbookpictures@gmail.com

 

  • Want to learn more about films? Join foreign film club where we analyze and discuss them. Meet others who love movies just as much as you do and learn lots! There are new movie suggestions each week. If you are interested in joining, contact Leslie Zheng (Grade 12) or Mr. Sturtevant in the Drama Room. Look for flyers around the school for email contact information. (Every Wednesday!)
