  • There will be a Griffins that Give meeting in Ms. Calacuiura’s room (Rm 102) at lunch today. (R)
  • Attention all Ms. Erfan’s math and science students, should you require some extra help, please feel free to drop by her room during lunch breaks any day. (R)
  • Percussionists in Band - this is a reminder that there is a sectional meeting at lunch. Please bring your scores!
  • Jazz Band - Junior Jazz will be meeting on Thursday at lunch!  Bring your instrument on Thursday!
  • It was a tough day for our basketball teams against McMath - Jr girls lost 54-10 and Jr boys lost 55-37
  • Fees are Due please pay them online ASAP or talk with Mr. Leithman or Ms.Henry
  • Senior girls , pick up your uniforms at Break tomorrow.
  • Sr boys Basketball practice for today is CANCELLED.
  • Interested in score keeping or need a refresher? Come to the large gym at lunch this Friday.
  • Do you identify as part of the LGBTQ+ community or as an ally? Are you interested to meet students from SOGI clubs across the school district? If you answered yes to these questions, the Rainbow Cafe may be a fun event for you! Cambie Secondary School will be hosting a Rainbow Cafe on Thursday, December 12 from 3:30-6PM. If you are interested to attend, please see Ms. Epp or Ms. Nallainathan to RSVP. Just like our SOGI meetings, food and a safe space will be provided at this event!
  • Library staff has noticed that, despite numerous reminders and announcements about not eating food at the computers or couches, people still don't seem to understand this very simple rule. To mitigate the problem, the library will be closed for the first 10 minutes at the start of lunch. If problems continue, we may have to either close the library for the majority of lunch or revisit allowing people to eat in the library.
  • Western University of Ontario visits Palmer on Thursday – come out to the lounge at BREAK tomorrow so that you can find out what this prestigious university can offer you!
  • The University of New Brunswick visits Palmer on Thursday at Lunch in the library.  This is a longstanding school with a wonderful reputation and may have something you may be interested in as well as their generous scholarships!
  • There will be a table tennis practise this coming Friday, Dec 6th.  Please meet in room 136, Mr. Tse’s room after school.  Also, please hand in your athletics form to Mr. Leithman.
  • Hey Palmer Griffins, did you find yourself without lunch? If so, come stop by Palmer’s Lunchbox, dedicated towards giving students a free delicious and nutritious lunches every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at lunch in Room 119.  Today they will be serving cauliflower soup and arugula salad and tomorrow they will be serving veggie penne pasta.  Vegetarian options always available.
