Daily Notices - Tuesday November 12th 2019

  • Join our fun Science club during the lunch break in room 113 (science experiments are presented in the students lounge) with Ms. Erfan. (R)
  • Are you interested to make some extra money or to earn some volunteer hours? Are you interested to gain a new set of skills?  If you are then you should become a peer tutor!  The four part training sessions will take place on Thursdays after school starting November 21st.  Please see Ms. Epp, Ms. Stolberg, or the Peer Tutoring website if you have any questions or wish to sign up.
  • A reminder to Grade 8 & 9 Junior Math Club members of the regular meeting today after school in Mr. Wong's room. Please remember to bring your folders and materials.
  • This is yet another reminder for students who eat their lunches in the library. Let's make this very clear and simple. You are only allowed to eat at the tables. Tables meaning the nice sturdy surfaces on 4 legs in the middle of the room. This does not mean you can bring a chair to the couches and pretend that's okay. You may NOT eat at the computers. Remember that having food in the library is a new policy we are testing out. If we find that this is causing more of a hassle, we will revert back to the 'no food in the library' policy. Again, just to make it clear, food can only be eaten at the tables
  • The PE department would like to challenge all departments with helping our students heading to Ashland. We have bought a box of chocolate bars, can your department match or beat that?
  •  Good luck to our Senior Girls volleyball team playing against Pacific Academy tonight.
  • Reminder that there is no table tennis practice after school today.
  • Junior Girls vs Senior Girls – this Friday at 3:30 in the large gym, come out and watch!
  • Do you want some of your fellow students to become billionaires?  Yes? Then visit Palmer Central today to help your fellow students practise their sales skills.  Palmer Central will now be open every lunch hour – Enjoy the treats!
